Spread Joy, Shared Warmth: Recap of Our Coat Drive and Open House

Our recent Winter Coat Drive and Open House event was a heartwarming success, bringing together the DMS Community in a spirit of generosity and warmth. Thanks to the incredible support of our community members, we collected a total of 52 coats and winter items to donate to those in need through the North Liberty Community Closet, ensuring that many individuals will stay warm during the colder months ahead. The event was also made special by the participation of several talented students from Dynamic Music Studios, who captivated the audience with their remarkable performances. From the joyful atmosphere to the delicious cupcakes courtesy of Molly's Cupcakes, it was a day filled with music, kindness, and community spirit. We are grateful to everyone who contributed to making this event a memorable and impactful experience.

From Practice to Painting: Dynamic Music Studios' Community Mural Initiative

In March, Dynamic Music Studios held a fantastic practice-a-thon event to raise funds for a wonderful cause. The aim was to hire a local artist named Haley Seaba to create a beautiful community mural for the studio. The event was a resounding success and additional funds raised will be donated to the United Action for Youth in Iowa City. We're excited to share a time-lapse video of the mural being painted, and we want to thank everyone who donated and helped make this project a reality. It was a true artistic collaboration, and we're proud to be able to support both local artists and our community through the power of music and art.

"My son has been taking lessons from Christina M for three years and has made great progress with her. As a viola student who started at age 11 with the support of Christina he has been able to participate in honors orchestra and attend summer string camp as well as participate in his Junior and High School orchestras. She is a great teacher."
