As a teacher over the years, students say some of the funniest things. Kids especially, have such a unique a perspective and look at things so differently.
I have started a collection in a notebook of some of the humorous and cute things students have said over the years.
Here are a few funny things my students have said in the studio:

I introduced the song “Morning has Broken” and a new time signature. The student says, “well how are they gonna fix morning anyway”? I then explained what it meant but the student still seemed intent on how we could fix it.-boy age 10
I typically ask all my students how they are doing today when they come in. I asked and the answer was ⅓ tired, ⅓ disappointed and I don't know about the other ⅓. -boy age 8
A student was playing on song with intervals of 6th in it. So, I wrote a 6 on the music. The student asked if they were supposed to use their 6th finger to play it. I asked if the student had a 6th finger and she laughed and said no. We ended up giggling for a lot of the rest of the lesson every time she came to a 6th. -girl age 11
What did you say? The student had opened her book said I had to practice Bar-b-que dance. (She meant Baroque Dance).
I was saying please get out your books so we can go over your songs. Student: “I had some songs out of the Technique and Rotisserie book. She meant (Technique and Artistry Book.
I was talking about Bach and mentioned his name several times. Student, “Why do you keep making chicken noises like Bak, Bak”?
