Rosie is a piano student of Sarah Beckelheimer, co-owner and piano instructor at Dynamic Music Studios in Coralville, Iowa.

How long have you been taking piano?

4.5 years

Why did you decide to take piano lessons?

I wanted to because my older brother had taken piano lessons and I looked up to him. 

Do you play any other instruments?

Yes, tuba and viola

How much do you practice?

30 minutes 4 or 5 days a week. 

What is one of your favorite songs you have learned so far?

I like Pumpkin Boogie and Skeleton Dance. I really like my recital. 

What advice do you have for younger students?

Try and get at least 20 minutes of practice. If you are really busy try to get at least one day in. 

What do you like about lessons? 

That my teacher is really nice and is understanding. 

What goals do you have for piano? 

I want to be able to play classical music one day. 

What job would you like to do when you grow up?

I would like to be a professional soccer player.
